Scott J. Larsen is a partner at the Arnett Law Group, overseeing and managing the firm's subrogation practice group. Born in Heidelberg, West Germany, and thereafter a life-long Chicago-area resident, Mr. Larsen graduated cum laude from Bradley University in 1992 with a double major in Political Science and Criminal Justice, receiving the Criminal Justice Department's outstanding graduating Senior award. While at Bradley University, Mr. Larsen also played four years of NCAA Division I College Baseball, earning the prestigious Don Stamp Hustle Award and being named team captain his Senior year. Upon graduation, Mr. Larsen played baseball in Europe eventually returning home and graduating from the DePaul University College of Law in 1995 where he was a member of the Moot Court Society competing in regional and national oral advocacy competitions.

Scott Larsen associated with a prestigious law firm in Chicago, Illinois specializing in liability defense, fraud investigation, and commercial litigation, eventually leaving in 1998 to open up a Chicago law office bearing his name so that he could focus on his specialty - trial work. After nearly 20 years of building and leading his own law firm, Mr. Larsen brought his entire practice and staff to the Arnett Law Group - a firm of like-minded individuals who share his core belief of providing top notch, client-centered counsel, advice, and service.

Mr. Larsen has represented and is counsel to Fortune 500 level companies within the insurance industry. While his practice has grown and become focused in the areas of insurance subrogation, and the representation of medical professionals, he has continued his representation of the various individuals, families, and small businesses that formed the initial core of his practice. He has handled cases in nearly half of the Judicial Circuits throughout the State of Illinois, as well as all of the Cook County Municipal Districts, and the Eastern and Western Divisions of the Northern Federal District Court of Illinois where he is a member in good standing of the Federal Trial Bar. On top of his work as a trial attorney, Mr. Larsen is an accomplished Appellate practitioner who has personally argued cases in three of the five Appellate Court Districts in the State of Illinois, while also having filed various Petitions for Leave to Appeal with the Illinois Supreme Court.

In addition to handling various pro bono matters, Mr. Larsen is actively involved in his community where he serves as an elected/appointed Board Member of various not-for-profit organizations, including the Northern Illinois Hockey League and the Central States Developmental Hockey League. In that capacity he has collaboratively worked with both USA Hockey and the Amateur Hockey Association of Illinois relative to the implementation of the American Development Model for hockey at the U8 level. Mr. Larsen has been and is a member in good standing of various Bar Associations, including the Cook County and Illinois Bar Associations, as well as NASP (National Association of Subrogation Professionals), and has previously been a speaker on various legal topics relating to the practice of law for the Colleges of Law at DePaul University, Chicago-Kent, John Marshall and Valparaiso University in Indiana.
